Hello all,
Few of us met last week to
discuss about ways and means to doing something for our village and making a difference
to our school.
Following are the initial
thoughts.
1. Doing
something for our school
a.
Setting up/reviving school library
b.
Encouraging talented students
c.
Annual events and presenting gifts to class
toppers
d.
Setting up computer lab
e.
School plantation
2. Plantation
a.
Plant saplings on the main road (from Domada
theatre to School)
b.
We may have to coordinate with Panchayat people
c.
Plantation on sub-roads
3. Setting
up a rented house in Hyderabad - this
house can be used by people who are making short-term visits for medical
purpose, job seekers in Hyderabad etc.
4. Financially
supporting meritorious students from weaker sections (on need basis)
5. Building
sheds to migrant laborers (low priority)
6. Taking
up sanity works around ponds/pools in
the village (low priority)
7. People
can add more
We all can further discuss on how
to go about executing them and mobilizing resources.

many People, who are from Pedapudi and whichever place they are in including
overseas.
Once good number of the people is
added to this email chain, say within 3 to 4 weeks, we can think of having a
formal (physical) meet
based convenience of the majority
of the people.
